I never imagined my son would be such a good dad or that she would be such a blessing from God. Her impish grin, asking for "mor peez", calls of PaPa, little arms held up asking to be picked up & cuddled, sleeping peacefully in my arms, curiously opening every cupboard door & emptying it's contents...We are experiencing the depth of God's love & mercy again & again.Janet from Grove Citynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36641321.post-27696430515048829972012-04-04T08:51:55.106-05:002012-04-04T08:51:55.106-05:00Oh Barbaranne, even though I am not in your situat...Oh Barbaranne, even though I am not in your situation, I was 18 years ago when I became pregnant with my first, not married and only with my husband a shorter amount of time. I also really feel like I an relate to how you must be feeling. The one thing I plead with my oldest about is not making those same mistakes and then having the scars. (I think i have a lot more scars than you do) I was not graciously received and had already been cast out and was no welcomed back. The tears flow freely as I remember how alone and scared I was, a new baby on the way and nowhere to call home. Hugs and prayers.... Praying for you and your daughter.Tinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07871495184042118262noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36641321.post-62223632018863100252012-04-04T08:38:58.191-05:002012-04-04T08:38:58.191-05:00Barbaranne,

The Lord has worked it all out for His good and as you mentioned a baby is always good news! At the time I was terrified and the father didn't end up working out, but the Lord has given me a wonderful husband and father for my children. I will keep Bekah in my prayers and your family during this time. Big hugs to you!Nicole Mosernoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36641321.post-9234981872302968192012-04-04T07:35:50.333-05:002012-04-04T07:35:50.333-05:00Thanks for sharing. It always amazes me how we think we are in control of our lives, and many questions are always asked throughout why it is not going the way we want. Over the past 34 years since I left my parents house, everything I have ever asked for including my good health, my daughter, husband, family and good friends have been given to me, in His time. Not mine. And always be very specific what you wish for, becuse He is always listening. Good luck to all of you. God is setting the path, as you know, so rejoice.Kelly Wisnerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01444825083496027796noreply@blogger.com
